I trained as a beautician in Croatia and have worked in beauty since 2009. From 2013 to 2021 I owned and ran my own salon there, caring for hundreds of regular customers.
In February 2026 I brought that experience to Ballyconnell as Bellissima — a fully mobile service, run entirely by me.

Hi everyone. I am using this opportunity to introduce myself a little bit more. A lot of you already know me, apart from those people who don't know me.
I am Martina Dod, I am from Croatia. I am a wife and a busy mum of three beautiful girls. It is quite busy in our house.
I am behind the name Bellissima Beauty and Massage. I am offering to people door-to-door service. I am over seventeen years in beauty industry. I am a hairdresser as well, but from a hairdresser part I am doing only blow dry and curls.
If you have any questions, or you want to know more about me, about any treatments or anything like that, feel free to contact me any day, any time.
I want to use the opportunity to say a big thank you to everybody who supported me over the years, not only the last few months, who encouraged me and believed in me, because without you Bellissima wouldn't exist today. How do I book an appointment?
Message Martina on WhatsApp (085 816 5248) with the treatment you would like, your location and a day that suits you. You can also phone the same number or message the Bellissima Facebook page. Martina replies personally and confirms the time with you — an appointment is only confirmed once she has replied.
Where are the treatments carried out?
In your own home. Martina travels to you and brings everything that is needed — including the massage table, fresh covers and all products. You just need a little space and a plug socket.
Which areas does Bellissima cover?
Bellissima is based near Ballyconnell, County Cavan, and generally covers anywhere within about a 20-minute drive. If you are not sure whether your address is inside the area, just send your location — Martina checks the distance and confirms straight away.
Is there a travel charge?
Yes, a small one: €5 in the Ballyconnell area, and €10–€15 further out, depending on distance. The exact charge is always confirmed with you when the appointment is arranged, so there are no surprises.
Can I pay by card?
Yes — both cash and card payments are accepted. Payment is taken at the appointment; nothing is paid online.
Are gift vouchers available?
Yes. Message or call Martina and she will arrange a gift voucher for you.
Are evening appointments available?
Often, yes. Martina works by appointment and daytime and evening slots may be available — ask for a time that suits you and she will do her best.
Are Sunday appointments available?
Sunday appointments are limited and only by arrangement. It is always worth asking.
How do I know if my address is within the service area?
Send Martina your address or Eircode on WhatsApp. She checks the driving distance from Ballyconnell and confirms whether she can come to you, along with the travel charge.
